Keith grew up in a small town called Calpine in Northern California. As a young boy he dreamed of following in his grandfathers steps and being a fire fighter. Upon graduating high school, Keith enlisted in the Air Force as a firefighter and was stationed at Eielson Air Force Base. During his time in the service, Keith felt a call to youth ministry and is currently pursuing this calling by attending classes at Trinity Bible College.

Macy was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. At age 5, her and her family moved to the great state of Alaska. After living in Anchorage for 5 years, her family moved north to Fairbanks, where her and Keith eventually met at church.

Macy has always wanted to work with children and those less fortunate. She’s currently a junior at the University of Fairbanks, Alaska with the end goal of being a Speech Pathologist.

Macy and Keith officially met in October 2023, but if you ask them how they met, they will tell you completely different stories:)

Macy and Keith's first interaction was on a youth night while they were both serving at the Check In booth. Right off the bat Macy was charmed by Keith's goofy and kind spirit, to which he's been nicknamed "Kind Keith", and Keith quickly realized what a catch Macy was. The two quickly hit it off and became fast friends, and the rest, as they say, is history!

It all started with a simple plan- waffles and a walk.

Keith planned for the two of them to go to Macy's favorite gluten free cafe and get waffles, then go for a stroll up at Murphy Dome (the locals know that this is the prettiest view in Fairbanks). It was meant to be sweet, simple, and beautiful... but Fairbanks winter had other ideas.

When they arrived at Murphy Dome, the weather app read 39 below with 60 mile and hour winds. Macy and Keith tried to embrace the cold and enjoy the beauty, but the cold bites-- literally.

Just as Macy was suggesting they go back to the car, she turned around and there was Keith down on one knee. Macy obviously shouted out yes, they snapped a few photos, and ran back to the warm car.
